Anna Kay Sitzman received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Social Science from Loyola University New Orleans and a Master of Science in Geography from Louisiana State University. She specializes in climatology with research on heavy rainfall and flooding in New Orleans. She started teaching Physical Geography at CWI in Fall 2026.
Originally from Nebraska, Anna Kay loves to experience geography by traveling and looking at the sky. In her free time, Anna Kay practices yoga, country line dancing, swimming, or watches reality TV.
