Pam Bond joined CWI as an adjunct faculty member in 2020. She has been involved with the Idaho GIS community since she started her graduate program at Idaho State University, where she received her Master of Science in Geographic Information Science. From volunteering at conferences to chairing the Idaho Geospatial Council Executive Committee, she has stayed involved and continues to contribute to the betterment of the GIS community. After six years using her GIS skills for wildlife management with Idaho Fish and Game, she has moved on to a new position working for City of Boise in IT GIS as a GIS System Project Coordinator. Pam enjoys working collaboratively, hearing the voices of different GIS community members, and introducing people to the power of GIS. When she isn’t working, you’ll probably find her hiking or maintaining one of Idaho’s many wonderful trails.
