Native Plant Sale Set for April 19

Published: April 4, 2014

The College of Western Idaho (CWI) Biology Club will host the third-annual CWI Native Plant Sale on Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the east entrance of the Nampa Campus Academic Building. The sale will include a large variety of native plants ranging from small 10 cubic-inch tubes starting at $2, to mature five gallon shrubs and trees with everything in between. There will also be student constructed up-cycled climbing rope pet leashes on sale for $10.

Visit the CWI Native Plant Display and explore the diversity of beautiful, low maintenance and water thrifty perennial flowers, forbs, and shrubs that are native to the Intermountain West and Rocky Mountains. Proceeds will be used to create and install educational signage and plant identification markers within the CWI campus display.
