Can I get a job working from home after I pass the certification exam?

Probably not right away. Most health care employers require staff to work in the office for a minimum of 6 months before they consider allowing staff to work from home. Employers need to see that you understand how to code, with minimal help and errors. Also, coding jobs typically have a quota that need done per hour and there are error rates associated into that as well.  Additionally, not all employers offer a work from home option.
