College of Western Idaho Board of Trustees to Hold Public Listening Tour

Nampa- The locally elected Board of Trustees for the College of Western Idaho (CWI) will hold a series of public listening sessions in May and June 2017.

Scattered over eight (8) various locations throughout the entirety of Ada and Canyon counties, each session will feature a brief presentation and extensive time for question and answer exchange with the leaders of the College.

“We want to hear from as many people as possible,” said Board Chairman Mark Dunham. “As locally elected trustees, we answer to the voting public. We want and need to hear ideas on how we better serve students and partner together to meet the needs of our local and regional industries and businesses.”

Each session will begin at 6:30pm and end at 8:00pm. All interested members of the public are encouraged to attend.  Those wishing to attend may select from the following dates and locations:

  • Tuesday, May 16, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Riverside Hotel, Garden City. Northstar Room
  • Wednesday May, 17th 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. CWI Nampa Academic Building, Room 102E
  • Thursday May 18, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Parma High School Commons
  • Tuesday May 23, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Middleton High School Auditorium
  • Wednesday May, 24 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Caldwell High School Auditorium
  • Thursday May 25, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Eagle High School Auditorium
  • Wednesday, May 31, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Meridian City Hall, City Council Chambers
  • Thursday June 1, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Kuna High School Auditorium
